GAMEWIDE HMD MEME

This is the periodic Gamewide HMD meme!

✦ The Gamewide HMD is optional. If you opt out of participating in the gamewide hmd, please at least have an hmd up in your journal.

✦ This is not a love meme but it is okay to tell a player they're doing well. Please also keep this constructive and let them know what it is you like so they know to keep doing it.

✦ If you ask for crit please also give some to other players. While we can't enforce this because some of it will be anon, the mod team would like to ask players to please try to give at least (3) other players crit.

✦ Please keep crit polite and constructive.

✦ Please escalate severe or repeat issues to the mods, if appropriate. If repeated attempts at constructive crit don't bear any fruit, there are rules for the many possible causes of this: bad player behavior, ICA=ICC, IC /=OOC, characters having to be IC, etc. If frustrating problems consistently happen without any improvement, it is possible they're verging on a rule break, so if that is the case, rather than letting things devolve into hostility, please escalate things and contact the mods to see what steps can be taken next.

This is where you can leave crit for the mods. Please let us know if anything is bothering you, if you have suggestions for improvements in how the game is run, if you have any crit for how the game's npcs are handled, if there are things you like that you want us to keep doing, or if there are certain things you want to see in the near future (such as the IC anon meme, more mingle events, etc.).

This is also a good place to ask questions or make suggestions about the overarching plot.

You can request specific player plots and mod plots here, and talk about what elements of the mod plot you'd like to see most throughout the game here. But if you have any questions about the next leg of the mod plot or want to discuss what's coming in the near future, you can feel free to under this comment.

Currently Known Issues:

- The mod team is currently discussing the possibility of adding new mods to the team to help with workload/npcing.
- We will be writing up an new info page on Legion training to make sure everyone has the info they need.
- If anyone has any concerns or questions over the recent ban, feel free to let us know here or on the mod contact.

Any constructive crit is welcome! I've also got anon enabled on my journal's HMD if that's preferred.

Current issues for me at the moment are that I'm in the middle of preparing to move out of province and time management when working from home is not my strongest suit so my current deadlines tend to run me into the ground. Hopefully after the move and once I'm not working from home anymore I'll have a more solid work schedule and balance out the RP again.

I'm not asking for crit, but I'm reminding people that I have HMDs on my journals. If you ever have a problem with how I'm playing, I'd very much prefer an actual conversation on plurk or a DM here so that questions can be asked and things corrected if needed rather than bottling them up for the occasional game wide HMD.

I know I've had some particular slowness, even for me, due to a long Xmas holiday and a death in the family.

Also, about once a week my iPhone deletes every last blessed email I have. If anyone knows how to stop it, let me know. Digging everything out of the trash is getting old.

I feel I'm too new to have much input or much to offer for examination, but I'll do my best and I would like to at least show willing.

Work is kinda hellish right now and I'm in the process of starting a second job so I have a pile of old tags in my inbox I haven't had a chance to get to, but I'm trying to keep up with current going-ons! For any crit for Brainiac 5, hit the mods, since npc stuff is partly handled by the mods as a whole.

Am trying to work on my activity and not dropping things. I'm hoping with adding some help to the mod team, that it'll help. I also tend to get SAD during the winter, which kinda knocks me flat for most of it, so I suspect things will improve now that spring is coming. Usually in spring and summer, I'm slightly more with it, and this was a particularly rough winter for some reason.
